Contract Dates

*The fiscal year for Professional Development runs from July 1 – June 30. 

November 1

  • Deadline to submit, in writing, to the Superintendent your intent to advance a column (based on educational level) on the salary schedule. Do this if there is any chance! (Article IX, Section 2e)
  • Deadline to notify Superintendent, in writing, if you will be retiring at the end of the next school year and wish to take advantage of the Retirement Incentive ($2500). (Article IX, Section 16)
  • Deadline to notify Superintendent, in writing, if you will be retiring at the end of the current school year and wish to take advantage of the Retirement Incentive ($1500). (Article IX, Section 16)

December 1

  • Deadline to challenge accuracy of the seniority list, in writing, with the Superintendent. (Article X, Section 7)
  • By the end of December, TSA matches are made. (Article IX, Section 17)

February 1

  • Deadline for teachers on Child-Rearing Leave to notify the Superintendent of their intent to return in September, 2014. (Article IX, Section 6)

April 15

  • Deadline for teachers beginning Child-Rearing Leave on or after Feb. 1 to request an additional year of leave. (Article IX, Section 6)
  • Coursework / professional development reimbursement is contingent upon funding availability after this date. (Article IX, Section 3)

June

  • Requests for Sabbatical Leave for the 2019-2020 school year should be made.
